Exploring the world

In February of 2016 I went on my dream vacation to Kona, Hawaii. Kona is the biggest island of all of the Hawaiian islands and it also has some of the most beautiful waterfalls. I learnt about the Hawaiian cultures and I found out that the islands were actually made from different cultures around the world, especially Korean c

ultures. My favorite thing that I went to in Kona was the Luau, I witnessed the cooking of the pig under ground and how they buried it so it would be cooked perfectly for that night and then as the sun fell I watched men and woman dance on stage with fire. It was almost magical how they danced to the beat of their feet stomping on the stage and the sounds of their hands beating on their chests. Each dance would be a different story, some would be of war battles and some would be of love. Kona was absolutely beautiful and full of culture and I definitely want to go back!
